Introduction

Zeonics Systech Defence & Aerospace Engineers (P) Ltd., was established with the specific purpose of developing special purpose & High Voltage Capacitors.  It has been able to make substantial break throughs in the technology required for the manufacture of these capacitors and has productionised many of the techniques for the same.

Zeonics Systech is a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of world class capacitors and other components. Zeonics Systech's products are a result of continuous Research and Development with State of the Art manufacturing facilities under the direct supervision of Managing/Technical Director who is an Engineer with 26 years Experience.

Zeonics Systech manufacturing technology results in high reliability, performance and cost effectiveness with a team of dedicated Technical Personnel.  The Promoters and the Technical team have a wealth of experience in all aspects of design, material selection, manufacturing, testing, Quality Assurance and  other commercial aspects of the concern.
We are in the process of expanding and modernising our production  facilities to bring it in line with international standards.

Zeonics Systech's   Quality Systems meet military standards and have been approved by the Ministry of Defence user establishments.

For almost 25 years, Zeonics Systech, an Indian company, has specialized in Capacitor Manufacturing  and is today one of the leading designers and manufacturers of High voltage Capacitors in the Country.

Zeonics Systech is involved with all major industries, both civil and Defence.   Its reputation for quality and reliability has been enhanced by an intensive investment program enabling the company to establish new facilities with latest Production Research and Testing facilities.

PROMOTORS DETAILS:

a)  The Technical Director of the Company is an Electronics Engineer who has been associated with the business since its inception and is also very actively involved in the testing procedures and other technical requirements, having rich experience in Techno Commercial Assignments and is also very actively involved in the Management of other Companies in the Group.  She is also a recipient of the UDYOG PATRA award.

b) The Commercial Director of this Company who has been associated with the Company since its inception and is also associated with the Management of other companies of the group.  A widely travelled personality who brings in rich information, due to extensive travelling and looks after the commercial aspects of the Company's operations.  He has nearly 40 years of Business Experience.

c)  The Managing / Technical Director of the Company who is an Electronics Engineer with Specialisation in the field of High Energy, High Voltage Equipment and systems with a very deep commitment towards reliability and development of equipments meant for extremely critical application in Defence and Atomic Energy.  He has been supplying equipment of different types to the Ministry of Defence, R&D Establishment for the past 26 years and has been accredited as a extremely reliable supplier of critical equipments and components to Govt. of India.   He has developed special manufacturing systems and techniques used for High Speed Projectile Measurement, High Speed Slip Rings for Aircraft's and other special purpose products used for Armaments Electronics.  He is an expert in System Designing & Testing, which is very useful for the designing and Technology, in the development of High Voltage Capacitors.

Zeonics Systech offers Industries the full support of highly qualified specialists in addition to the production of high voltage Capacitors that satisfies the most exacting current and future requirements of industrial designers both in private and public sector, and also for government establishments in Defence and Atomic energy.

R & D FACILITIES:  The unit has a very strong R&D base with full manufacturing and testing facilities under the personal supervision of  their, Technical Director.

We have our R&D Laboratory of around 14000 Sq.ft. headed by our Managing Director, which is one of the best R&D Labs in the Private Sector in the country. The lab is fully equipped with all latest equipments and testing instruments. All the instruments are calibrated at regular intervals to keep it in line with demanding requirements. Calibrations are done in-house by qualified technical personnel's to match within their specified limits. Most of the instruments in our Lab are of popular make and hence their failure rate is negligible. We also have in our R&D Lab a Library consisting of over 7500 Books on various engineering subjects helping the technical personnel's to keep themselves abreast of various Technical developments the World Over. We have safety measures to take care of heavy currents, High Voltage and other Hazardous materials, The lab uses like Gloves, Masks, Respirators and Emergency Exit Doors etc., also we have fire extinguishers at vital points to take care of fire Mishaps.

Quality Objective

The goal of   Zeonics Systech is to manufacture Special Purpose Capacitors both in Medium Voltage category and High Voltage category and allied products like Power Resistors, Inductors, Capacitor Banks to Military Standards, and for critical applications in Railways, Atomic Energy etc.  These can be manufactured as per the customer's requirement.

Quality Checks and Process flow:

Stages of Process

  • Raw Material Stage
  • Work in Process (Manufacturing activity)

Raw materials incoming are tested for critical parameters including Breakdown Voltage, Dissipation factor etc.  They are then issued for production wherein process checks at various stages are conducted to ensure that the process is under control.  After the capacitors are manufactured, the same are thoroughly tested for Value, Tolerance, Dissipation Factor, Insulation Resistance, Isolation Resistance, Peak Current, and if required, Humidity Test, Vibration Test, Bump Test, after which they are aesthetically done up and labeled for their respective values, packed and dispatched.

Test Facilities :
1.High Voltage test:
We have the following High Voltage Testing facilities:
a: 0 to 30 KVDC
b: 0 to 120 KVDC
c: 0 to 540 KVDC
All power supplies are based on High Frequency Multiplier Technology and are specially designed for short circuits.  The Capacitors go through routine tests of working voltage, Test voltage and if need be for Isolation voltages.
2.Flash test:
Capacitors are subjected to flash over test using AC. High Voltage Power supplies i.e., we have 0 to 25 KVAC, 0 to 50 KVAC and 0 to 100 KVAC.
In case of AC or DC capacitors the same are tested for flash over as per customer requirements.
3.Pulse Discharge Test:
Energy Storage capacitors are required to deliver  their pulse current for a given duration of time. The capacitors are charged through a high Impedance DC source and then discharged through specially designed  low Impedance paths to get desired peak currents.
4.Endurance Test:
The capacitors are kept at the respective voltage or derated voltage for a desired time ( as specified by the customer) which could range from 10 hrs to 500 hrs and change in capacitance value & dissipation factor is noted for reference.
